Max Factory, a Japanese model manufacturer, has announced the latest product from its highly popular and diverse plastic model kit brand 『PLAMAX』: the "minimum factory Alto Saotome with VF-25F Decal Set" from "Macross Frontier," scheduled for release in October 2023.
This release features Alto Saotome, the protagonist of "Macross Frontier," in the same 1/20 scale as the minimum factory Head Series. Crafted with precise sculpting, he is depicted in a cool pilot suit. For the first time in the minimum factory series, articulated joints have been incorporated, allowing for sitting and standing poses, as well as various hand gestures and throttle parts to recreate actions like pushing the throttle, gripping the control stick, and saluting.
This product can be used in conjunction with the separately sold 『PLAMAX MF-51 minimum factory Head Series VF-25F』. With slight modification to the Messiah's cockpit, Alto Saotome can be seated inside, recreating impressive piloting scenes. Additionally, the product includes a dedicated VF-25F decal set, allowing for the application of numerous aircraft markings to the Messiah's head, enhancing the density of its detailed design.
