Japanese game company SEGA's SEGA PRIZE prize figure brand, under its Premium Chokonose series, will release a sitting character figure based on the anime "Bocchi the Rock!", featuring "Hitori Gotoh" FIGURE, scheduled for release in late March 2023!
"Bocchi the Rock!" (ぼっち・ざ・ろっく！), with its story centered on "Introverts should play rock!", tells the tale of "Hitori Gotoh", a high school girl with severe social anxiety and a school outcast. From a young age, she diligently practiced guitar, hoping to gain attention from her classmates and become a rock star! However, her gloomy personality and inability to interact with others prevented her dream of forming a band from coming true. She could only transform into "Guitar Hero" and upload guitar videos online, until her encounter with Nijika from Shimokitazawa High. Together with Ryo, Ikuyo, and others, they formed the "Kessoku Band" where she serves as the lead guitarist. Her bandmates nicknamed her Bocchi.
The "Premium Chokonose Hitori Gotoh" FIGURE brings Bocchi to life in her signature pink tracksuit jacket. Although expressionless, her long bangs covering her eyes, shy "duck sitting" pose, and clenched fists perfectly capture Bocchi's timid and socially anxious personality. With its pink color scheme and school uniform skirt, who cares if she's a loner? She's still incredibly cute!
