Anya Forger, formerly "Test Subject 007" in a certain organization's human experiments, possesses the superpower of telepathy. After escaping the research facility, she moved through several orphanages and foster homes. She was later adopted by the spy Loid Forger, codenamed "Twilight." Her adoptive mother is the professional assassin Yor. The three formed a fake family while concealing their true identities from each other, and are tasked with executing critical missions that impact the peace between two nations.
Bond Forger, a dog with precognitive abilities, is the 8th experimental subject created under the "Apple Project" by an Ostania organization attempting to create highly intelligent animals. He was subjected to inhumane treatment by the project's researchers, and even fell into the hands of a terrorist organization, almost being used as a "dog bomb." After the failed bombing attempt, he was officially adopted by the Forger family and became Anya's pet.
