The latest second installment of the new《Mobile Suit Gundam》themed gashapon toy series『MS MECHANICAL BUST 機械胸像』, released by Japan's Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby's gashapon brand『GASHAPON』, featuring「Gundam Exia」, is scheduled for official release in the fourth week of March 2023.
『MS MECHANICAL BUST 機械胸像』is a gashapon product that transforms Mobile Suits from the《Gundam》series into exquisite busts. Its design concept is similar to the previously released INTEGRATE MODEL Mazinger Z busts, but with a smaller size and a more simplified design. The product consists of two parts: the「exterior armor」with high-density detailed sculpting, and the「internal mechanism」which combines precise construction with a light-up feature. Once collected, the exterior parts can be attached to the internal mechanism to assemble a Gundam bust approximately 10 cm tall.
1. Colored Exterior Armor
2. Clear Exterior Armor
3. Internal Frame and LED Light Unit
「MS MECHANICAL BUST 02 Gundam Exia」will also be divided into three types: colored exterior armor, clear exterior armor, and the internal frame with LED light unit. The overall sculpting features high-density details, faithfully reproducing the sharp head antenna, the fierce and handsome face, and the grooves and panel lines across various parts of the armor. The colored armor fully presents colors such as red, blue, white, yellow, dark gray, and clear green. Notably, the dark gray blocks on both sides of the cheeks and the GN-001 lettering reflected on the chest's GN Condenser are meticulously recreated.
