Bandai Namco Entertainment Japan's new sci-fi IP "SYNDUALITY" is set to launch its TV anime and video game sequentially within 2023. Naturally, Bandai hasn't forgotten its core business of model toys. BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division recently announced that the latest product from the robot assembly model 'HG (High Grade)' series for "SYNDUALITY", the "Daisyogre", is expected to be released in July 2023.
The robots appearing in the series are bipedal walking robots known as "CRADLE COFFIN", also referred to as "All-Weather Cruising Bipeds". To cope with the unavoidable battles and harsh environments encountered during AO crystal recovery, they are equipped with various armaments. In addition to the pilot, the machine's back features a space called the 'coffin' to carry the pilot's partner, a "MAGUS". A MAGUS is an android equipped with a human-like dual-thought AI, providing excellent assistance in exploration and combat.
This Daisyogre (デイジーオーガ) is the machine piloted by the anime's protagonist, KANATA. Renowned mechanical designer Ippei Gyobu has crafted its unique body proportions and vibrant armor colors. The model kit utilizes precise part separation technology to faithfully recreate the high-density detailed design from the setting. Its four limbs feature multiple movable axes for flexible posing, and the legs even include a transformation mechanism to reproduce its in-show walking and roller-dash states.
Both the cockpit and the 'coffin' on the back feature deployment mechanisms, allowing for the inclusion of mini figures of protagonist KANATA and his MAGUS partner, Noir. Weapon parts include a rifle, smoke grenade launcher, and chain saw launcher, with interchangeable parts to recreate the chain saw's deployed state. Additionally, various stickers are included to reproduce the machine's markings and multiple expressions for the eye-shaped sensor.
