BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division's highly popular character model kit series『Figure-rise Standard』recently announced the latest product, "Noir," from Bandai's new large-scale sci-fi project 'SYNDUALITY' anime version, scheduled for release in August 2023.
'SYNDUALITY' is a sci-fi work centered on the theme of the "intertwining" of humans and AI. The story is set in a world where deadly poisonous rain falls. This lethal poison once caused a massive catastrophe known as the ≪Tears of the New Moon≫, which wiped out 92% of the world's population. The remaining humans established city-states underground. Over a hundred years later, humanity finally acquired the technology to overcome this rain, leading to the emergence of a profession called "Drifters." These Drifters, accompanied by humanoid AI companions called "MAGUS" equipped with human-like dual-thought AI, pilot bipedal walking robots called "CRADLE COFFIN" to the surface to search for precious resources such as "AO Crystals."
Noir, the heroine who partners with protagonist KANATA in the anime version, is also a MAGUS. Waking from a long slumber, she has lost her past memories. While seemingly clumsy, she demonstrates extremely high capabilities in assisting CRADLE COFFIN during combat. The Figure-rise Standard kit faithfully recreates the design by artist neco through excellent color separation and part division techniques. The neck and all limb joints feature articulation.
Accessories include one pre-printed face part, two face parts requiring self-application of water-slide decals, and multiple hand gestures. By swapping parts, you can recreate her appearance with or without her jacket. The display base features a multi-functional adapter with various connector specifications to enhance display flexibility.
