Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable PVC painted finished product series, "POP UP PARADE", will release "Kei Tsukishima", one of the characters from the completed super popular sports manga series Haikyuu!! who is on the same team as protagonist Hinata and others! Scheduled for release in July 2023.
Haikyuu!! (ハイキュー!!) is a shonen sports manga created by Japanese manga artist Haruichi Furudate, centered around volleyball. It began serialization in 2012 and concluded in 2020, spanning 405 chapters. The anime has currently aired four seasons. In August 2022, news of a second theatrical film, "Final," was announced, with the release date yet to be determined.
In the original work, Kei Tsukishima, along with Hinata and Kageyama, is a first-year new member of the volleyball club. Standing at 188 cm, he is the tallest on the team, serving as a middle blocker and excelling at blocking. Initially, he wasn't good at receiving and didn't have a great relationship with Hinata and Kageyama. He initially approached volleyball with a perfunctory attitude, viewing it merely as a club activity, but gradually found himself becoming interested and serious about it. He is intelligent and academically excellent, usually observing the world with a cool demeanor and being relatively calm. However, he cannot hide his passion for volleyball and is one of the important members of the Karasuno High School Volleyball Team.
This POP UP PARADE Kei Tsukishima figure features him in his Karasuno volleyball team uniform, topped with a black jacket. With his generally slender and tall build, this three-dimensional figure stands at 18.5 cm. Tsukishima's expression still appears cool, with his hand pulling his glasses down slightly, maintaining his characteristic cool gaze at the world, which perfectly captures his personality.
