Following Ao Gennai, the everyday-life bishojo model kit series "Sousai Shojo Teien," a collaboration between Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya and illustrator En Morikura, has once again announced its second collaboration product with their own anime series "Frame Arms Girl": "Koto Bukiko," scheduled for release in September-October 2023.
The character Koto Bukiko, released this time, is a close classmate of the protagonist Ao Gennai in the "Frame Arms Girl" series, and also an enthusiastic modeler, possessing astonishing skills in "magically modifying" a robot vacuum cleaner. However, Koto Bukiko actually originated as the image character for Kotobukiya's collaboration product with GodHand, the "Kotobukiya Model Nipper," back in 2015, and GodHand
The Standard Edition, scheduled for release in September, "Sousai Shojo Teien Koto Bukiko [Wakaba Girls' High School - Winter Uniform]" is sculpted based on the anime's design. The kit features up to 16 different molded part colors and some pre-painted parts, allowing for a significant recreation of her in-series appearance even with a straight build. With the highly articulated body, you can pose Bukiko in various adorable ways. Accessories also include pre-printed face parts such as "confident face," "tongue-out face," "silly grin face," "crying face," and "smiling face," as well as pre-painted skirt parts for standing/sitting poses, waist parts for sitting poses, 12 types of interchangeable hand parts, bare feet parts, etc. Also included are Bukiko's everyday essentials: a smartphone, model nippers, and a school bag. The rich array of accessories allows for a variety of scene recreations.
The Modeler's Edition (Kotobukiya official store exclusive), scheduled for release in October, features an even greater variety of up to 21 molded part colors. In addition to all the parts included in the Standard Edition, it also adds a bob haircut with her twin tails down, an extra-large utility knife that can be equipped by "HAND SCALE Gourai," as well as model-making tools such as a "workbench," "rolling chair," "airbrush and compressor set," "paintbrushes," "large paint bottle," and "small paint bottle." The workbench drawers can actually be pulled out to store tools. The rolling chair can be adjusted to three different heights to suit the character's needs. The air hose connecting the airbrush and compressor is also faithfully recreated with dedicated parts.
