Previously revealed online and one of the most anticipated gift-with-purchase sets recently, "40589 Pirate Ship Playground", Taiwan officially announced the details of its gift-with-purchase event yesterday (30th). Let's take a look!
While the detailed piece count for this "Pirate Ship Playground" has not yet been announced, we know that once assembled, it will measure approximately 12 cm high and 25 cm long. It creates a mini scene of a pirate ship transformed into a fun playground. The white slide piece emerging from the circular tunnel is incredibly cute. Next to it, you can also spot a brick-built red octopus model, a palm tree, a treasure chest, gold bar pieces, and more. The set includes two mini-pirate minifigures, distinguished not only by their red and blue striped shirts but also by their different hats. Fans of LEGO pirate themes should definitely consider getting this!
In Taiwan, the gift-with-purchase event runs from April 1st to April 30th. Customers who purchase any two sets totaling NT$3,600 or more at official LEGO Certified Stores will receive it for free. What's more, there are no restrictions on which sets can be purchased to qualify this time! Toy enthusiasts who have had certain sets on their wishlist but haven't acted yet can seize this opportunity.
