LEGO's exquisite collector series under the Star Wars theme, "Ultimate Collector Series (UCS)," officially unveiled its new product yesterday (the 5th): "75355 X-Wing Starfighter"! It is scheduled to be released on Star Wars Day 2023, May 4th.

In the Star Wars universe, the X-Wing fighter, a primary combat vehicle for the "Rebel Alliance," gets its name from its iconic X-shaped wings with folding capabilities. During the Battle of Yavin, "Luke Skywalker" piloted an X-Wing to destroy the Death Star, and in subsequent Star Wars stories, the Resistance ace "Poe Dameron" also flew a black and orange X-Wing. Within LEGO, the X-Wing fighter is a perennially popular subject, appearing in everything from miniature Microfighters to large models with over a thousand pieces. This 2023 edition marks the X-Wing's third appearance in the UCS series, a testament to its enduring popularity.

This set comprises a total of 1949 pieces, and once assembled, it reaches an impressive length of 55 cm, making it the largest X-Wing to date in terms of both piece count and finished size! The color scheme faithfully reproduces the primary white tone with accents of gray, beige, and dark red. Beyond being able to open the cockpit canopy, insert the Luke Skywalker minifigure, and admire the dashboard details, you can also place his trusty companion R2-D2 in the rear compartment. The jet engine structure visible from the back is particularly captivating. Furthermore, you can control the wing angle by rotating the circular Technic element on top of the X-Wing fighter! Paired with the black display stand featuring an information plaque, the overall presentation is incredibly cool.

▼ The included Luke Skywalker minifigure features brand-new printing on its arms and legs, while the helmet piece is as captivating as ever!
