British toy newcomer brand IconiQ Studios, in collaboration with Hong Kong's TBLeague, following the previous release of protagonist "Ryu" from Street Fighter V, will now also launch the 1/6 scale articulated figure of "Ken"! It is expected to be released between Q4 2023 and Q1 2024!
Another protagonist of equal importance to Street Fighter's main character Ryu is Ken (full name Ken Masters, often translated as Ken, or Jian, Quan), who trained alongside Ryu. Known as the "Crimson Fist of Fury", he, like Ryu, trained under Gouken. His moves are similar to Ryu's but differ in performance. He first appeared alongside Ryu in the original Street Fighter (as the 2P character), and their designs were also very similar, differing mainly in color. It wasn't until Street Fighter V that their designs became significantly different.
This Ken figure, produced by TBLeague and released by ICONIQ STUDIO, is also crafted in 1/6 scale. Its appearance, like Ryu's, features a fabric gi, with his signature red color. Utilizing TBLeague's exclusive seamless muscular body, the overall realism is further enhanced. For accessories, it includes several sets of interchangeable hand parts, an additional set of foot parts, as well as flame effect pieces and a display stand, allowing for dynamic poses such as the Shoryuken (Rising Dragon Punch) or the Guren Senpukyaku (Crimson Hurricane Kick).
