Following the release of "King-Ohger" and "God Kuwagata", Bandai Spirits Japan recently announced the latest product from this year's Super Sentai series, Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger: the "DX God Hopper," scheduled for release on April 22, 2023.
This year's Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger is set in a completely fictional fantasy world, depicting five heroes and the Guardian God King-Ohger fighting side-by-side a millennium ago to defeat the evil "Underworld Empire Bugnarok," protecting humanity and establishing five distinct nations across the continent. However, 2000 years later, Bugnarok revives as prophesied and invades the human world once more, marking the beginning of the story of four kings and one who is destined to become king. The Sentai robots in this series are insect-type mechanical lifeforms called "Guardian Gods," capable of combining into the giant robot "King-Ohger" to fight Bugnarok alongside the kings.
The "DX God Hopper" released this time is one of the three legendary Guardian Gods appearing in the series, faithfully recreating its in-show appearance and colors. Its hind legs conceal a spring mechanism, allowing it to replicate jumping actions when pressed. It also features a transformation and combination mechanism, capable of transforming into the "Hopper Armor," an armament treated with luxurious gold plating, and combining with the separately sold "DX King-Ohger" to form King-Ohger Hopper. Alternatively, it can gather God Kuwagata, God Scorpion, God Hopper, and King-Ohger to recreate the 13-machine grand combination "Legend King-Ohger"!
