Japan's official Mobile Suit Gundam Gunpla flagship store, GUNDAM BASE, recently announced the release of its latest limited-edition product, sold exclusively in stores. From the anime "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam," the "HG 1/144 Zeta Gundam [U.C.0088]/Hyaku-Shiki/Gundam Mk-II (AEUG Specifications) Set [Gryps Conflict Special Color]" is scheduled for release starting April 22nd.
This set simultaneously includes three previously released Gunpla models: "HG 1/144 Zeta Gundam [U.C.0088]," "HG 1/144 Hyaku-Shiki," and "HG 1/144 Gundam Mk-II (AEUG Specifications)". In "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam," these were the three main mobile suits utilized by the Anti-Earth Federation organization "AEUG" during the Gryps Conflict, piloted respectively by Kamille Bidan, Quattro Bajeena (Char), and Emma Sheen.
The kits for the three mobile suits are fundamentally the same as their previously released versions. However, the molding colors for the Zeta Gundam and Gundam Mk-II parts have been replaced with pearl molding colors that simulate a metallic luster. The Hyaku-Shiki's exterior armor has also undergone luxurious gold plating, achieving a matte gold luster reminiscent of the MG 2.0 version. It also includes original water-slide decals to add a wealth of body markings. With the included large display base, all three mobile suits can be displayed simultaneously!
