The original plastic model series 『30MINUTES MISSIONS』, released by BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division in Japan, which boasts easy assembly, convenient customization, and fully showcases the charm of mass-produced machines, is set to release its latest product, "30MM 1/144 bEXM-33QB Volpanova (Quad Bike Ver.)", on April 15, 2023. Official box art and prototype images have also been revealed.
『30MINUTES MISSIONS』 is an original plastic model series designed with the concept of "mass-produced machines," featuring renowned mechanical designers such as Kanetake Ebikawa and Takayuki Yanase. While the units may not possess the striking characteristics of main mecha from anime, they can be extensively customized in terms of appearance, weaponry, and color to meet various demands, fully embodying the appeal of mass-produced units. The kits are characterized by easy assembly, high expandability, and interchangeability, allowing for free customization using the standardized 3mm axis holes located throughout the body.
This new release, "Volpanova (Quad Bike Ver.)", is a transformable mass-produced unit for the Byron Army, designed by Kanetake Ebikawa. Its most significant feature is its ability to transform from a bipedal robot form into a high-mobility "Quad Bike" form. The entire unit is equipped with multiple locking mechanisms to greatly enhance stability after transformation, and it can even replicate an intermediate form with the upper body as a robot and the lower body as a quad bike. For weaponry, it comes with only one rocket launcher, and its body is equipped with numerous 3mm standard common connection points, allowing for customization with separately sold 30MM units and optional parts.
