Bandai Co., Ltd. of Japan recently announced the latest product, "Super Car Steak," for its new combining robot toy series "UNITROBORN," with a scheduled release date of April 22, 2023.
"UNITROBORN" is a brand-new original toy series that inherits the lineage of Bandai's early "Machine Robo" toys. The story is set around mechanical lifeforms called "UTA-ZO" who came to Earth from space. To protect Earth's peace, they can use their singing voices to instantly combine any objects of the same color around them into robots. Lobsters and apples, sharks and vending machines, hamburgers and bulldozers... various imaginative combinations can form powerful robots to defeat mysterious enemies causing chaos!
This time, the combining partners for "Super Car Steak" are a vibrant red supercar, symbolizing wealth, and a sizzling steak served on a hot plate. These two seemingly unrelated objects are equipped with an instant transformation mechanism. Simply combine the connecting parts, and they will naturally spring open and transform. Then, manually extend some parts to complete an 18 cm tall robot that wields a steak knife as a weapon and uses the hot plate steak as a shield!
Furthermore, this Super Car Steak can also cross-combine with the first release in the series, "Apple Lobster," which has a similar transformation structure. This allows for two new robot combinations: "Super Car Lobster" (lobster and supercar) or "Apple Steak" (apple and steak)!
