Following the highly acclaimed initial release of "N-202d Titania Genbu" from Japan's MEGAHOUSE toy company's original posable figure series 'Desktop Army', a partially revised new product, "N-202d Titania Genbu (ver1.1)", was recently announced for release in August 2023.
The Titania (ティタニア) series, designed by illustrator Nidy-2D-, was created as a new product line for the development of the next generation of Desktop Army. Its design incorporates Eastern fantasy elements such as zombies and the Four Sacred Beasts, and it features a new body type with upgraded proportions and articulation. Currently, three Sacred Beast girls—Genbu, Seiryu, and Byakko—have been successively released. The highly anticipated fourth Sacred Beast, Suzaku, which completes the Huanglinlong, has yet to receive new information.
Compared to the initial release, the girl body of "Titania Genbu (ver1.1)" includes an additional "Oh my!" expression part, with the rest of the content being largely the same. In contrast to previous series products, Genbu's new body, standing approximately 80mm tall, showcases a curvaceous and alluring figure. Joints at the wrists, waist, and thighs have added articulation axes, providing a wider range of motion. It can achieve a cute duck-sitting pose without needing to swap parts and can be posed in even more diverse ways when equipped with its armaments.
The Sacred Beast "Genbu" is composed of various zombie armor parts. When combined with the Titania main body, it can adopt either a lightweight cheongsam and bun hairstyle or a fully armored zombie appearance. Furthermore, Genbu can combine with the separately sold Seiryu and Byakko to form the large guardian beast "Huanglinlong (unfinished state)"!
