Japan's "Mobile Suit Gundam" official Gunpla flagship store, GUNDAM BASE, announced today that its latest limited edition product, "ENTRY GRADE 1/144 ν Gundam [Painting Model]," sold exclusively in-store, is scheduled to go on sale starting April 22, 2023.
"ENTRY GRADE 1/144 ν Gundam" is an entry-grade assembly model with just over 100 parts. The gate marks are specially designed, allowing parts to be easily removed by hand without the need for nippers, making it a very user-friendly design for children and beginners. It also features precise part separation, with even the twin eyes having separate parts, while Amuro's distinctive personal emblem on the shoulder armor and shield can be recreated using stickers.
Due to its simple assembly design and the ability to paint individual parts before assembly, this PAINTING MODEL appears in a canvas-like grayish-white molding color, allowing players to freely express their creativity through painting or even applying various stickers. Furthermore, the product will include painting technique explanations from Master Kawaguchi, enabling beginners to quickly grasp the techniques and paint their ideal colors.
