Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby recently announced that a new product project themed around the "Shin Japan Heroes Universe (S.J.H.U.)" is underway, with a promotional video released in advance. Further product details will be revealed at a later date.

First announced in 2022, the "Shin Japan Heroes Universe (S.J.H.U.)" project is a collaborative multimedia initiative by four major rights holders: Toho, Khara, Tsuburaya Productions, and Toei. It connects four Japanese films — "Shin Godzilla," "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time," "Shin Ultraman," and "Shin Kamen Rider" — all scripted by Japanese director Hideaki Anno and featuring "シン (SHIN)" in their Japanese titles, into a shared universe. This collaboration aims to overcome complex rights structures, allowing these four heroes to appear together in future events, exhibitions, and merchandise.

The newly released promotional video features a thrilling 3D animated sequence depicting the four heroes — Godzilla, EVA Unit-01, Ultraman (Libya), and Kamen Rider No. 1 — fighting together against a chaotic, unknown enemy that appears to be a fusion of an Angel and a Kaiju. The theme song, "Tsumi to Batsu Inorazaru Mono yo" (Sin and Punishment, Those Who Do Not Pray), is written and performed by Yoko Takahashi, known for singing several "Evangelion" theme songs, further heightening anticipation for the new toy products.
