Released by Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., the new "COMPLETE STYLE GIGANTIC" Kamen Rider toy series, designed for adults, today officially announced its second product from "Kamen Rider Kuuga," the "Pegasus Bowgun," following the first installment, "Titan Sword," with an expected release in October 2023.
"COMPLETE STYLE GIGANTIC" is a new series derived from the high-end Kamen Rider belt toy series "COMPLETE SELECTION MODIFICATION." Its theme is to three-dimensionalize large weapons from the Kamen Rider series with designs closely resembling their in-show appearances, allowing adults to enjoy the fun of imitating Kamen Riders. It addresses the shortcomings of previous CSM releases, such as weapons lacking linkage mechanisms with belts or having significant size differences before and after transformation/combination.
The "CSG Pegasus Bowgun" boasts a large size of approximately 45 cm in total length, extending to 62 cm when the trigger handle is pulled out. The area above the trigger is made with transparent green parts, revealing the intricate internal mechanical structure. Additionally, ancient Linto script carvings are printed throughout the bowgun, and extensive gold paint is applied, faithfully recreating the luxurious texture of its in-show appearance. Furthermore, it includes dedicated parts to recreate the enhanced form, "Rising Pegasus Bowgun," reaching a total length of 74 cm when attached!
This Pegasus Bowgun also features a rich array of playable sound effects. It can switch between Pegasus Bowgun and Rising Pegasus Bowgun modes, emitting characteristic firing sounds and sensing sounds for each. Pulling the handle and pressing the firing button will play the cool shooting sound effects of the special moves "Pegasus Blast/Rising Pegasus Blast." Additionally, it includes lines from Detective Kaoru Ichijo, who assists Yusuke Godai (Kuuga) in the show.
