To commemorate the 40th anniversary of "Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi" in 2023, LEGO recently released several impressive new LEGO sets. This article will introduce another new BrickHeadz series set, numbered 40623, titled "Battle of Endor Heroes", scheduled for release on May 1, 2023!
This set contains a total of 549 pieces and features a multi-character pack with five characters, bringing to life the heroes active in the "Battle of Endor". These include "Luke", "Leia", "Lando", "R2-D2", and the Ewok "Wicket"! Notably, Han Solo and Chewbacca, the iconic duo, are not included. R2-D2 is perhaps the one I'm personally most excited about; its overall appearance is quite adorable, and it also offers LEGO fans the possibility of expanding their collection with other astromech droids from the same series. Wicket, being smaller than the other characters, features a three-stud wide face, also with excellent facial detailing.
Although LEGO has previously produced younger versions of Han Solo and Chewbacca based on "Solo: A Star Wars Story", we still hope for official products of their classic trilogy versions to display alongside these!
