Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's toy brand BANPRESTO, which excels at showcasing various prize figures including character models, will release the first two products from "NARUTO: Shippuden BANPRESTO FIGURE COLOSSEUM Sculptural Ninja World War": the character models of "Uchiha Sasuke, Uchiha Itachi". Pre-orders are currently in full swing at BANPRESTO partner stores and major toy retailers, with an estimated release in September 2023!
The "BANPRESTO FIGURE COLOSSEUM (BFC for short)" sculpting competition, organized by BANPRESTO, emphasizes "sculptural beauty" as its judging criterion, while also evaluating various professional techniques. Ultimately, outstanding works will be jointly selected by judges and fans, and all participating works will be commercialized by BANPRESTO! The 2022 BFC competition featured "NARUTO: Shippuden" as its theme for the first time, and the competition has now entered its final stages! The four winning models are finally able to debut in their colored prototype forms! Two more works, Gaara and Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, are also planned for release.
Designed by Chinese sculptor Liu Hongyu, the BFC Sculptural Ninja World War Uchiha Sasuke is presented in his Cursed Seal Level 2 form, featuring significant changes to his skin and hair color, and a cross-shaped pattern appearing in the center of his face. He is depicted in a less common Fire Style Ninjutsu pose, recreating the impactful scene of the Uchiha brothers' final confrontation. Details such as his attire and hand gestures are meticulously sculpted, and the paint application is also impressive.

Also available for pre-order simultaneously is the BFC Sculptural Ninja World War Uchiha Itachi, sculpted by Chinese sculptor Song Changying. Standing approximately 15 cm tall, it is also inspired by the Uchiha brothers' final battle, faithfully recreating Itachi's appearance with blood dripping from his right eye after using Amaterasu. It also reproduces Itachi's most iconic forehead poke gesture, conveying his unwavering protection and final tenderness towards Sasuke: "Forgive me, Sasuke... This is the last time..."
The crows on his shoulder, representing Itachi, and the torn edges of his attire convey the oppressive feeling caused by his genjutsu. The shattered Uchiha clan crest under his feet also expresses his resolve to sacrifice his clan.
