LEGO has recently begun to successively announce its lineup of sets expected to be released this summer, and the content is truly exciting! This article will bring you product information for set number 40649, the "Up-Scaled LEGO® Minifigure" (tentative translation).
Toy enthusiasts, do you remember the previously released LEGO House exclusive, set number 40504, the "Redbeard"? This "Up-Scaled LEGO Minifigure," categorized under the LEGO Minifigure series, stands at 27 cm tall once assembled, essentially the same size as Captain Redbeard. However, due to its simpler design and lack of a baseplate, it only has 654 pieces, a full 387 fewer than Captain Redbeard's 1041 pieces. Nevertheless, its classic red shirt, blue pants, signature smiling face, and blue hat are incredibly charming, and the sense of line created by various curved pieces is absolutely captivating!
This "Up-Scaled LEGO Minifigure" not only features rotating mechanisms in its head, hands, arms, and legs, allowing for varied display options, but it also has what I personally consider the coolest selling point: lifting the hat reveals a cockpit space designed for a standard-sized LEGO minifigure, with Technic elements creating a gear-driven visual effect. What's more, the mini-minifigure included is the same as the main figure, making the whole package incredibly interesting! Toy enthusiasts who enjoy customization can also unleash their creativity by adding more decorations to the Up-Scaled LEGO Minifigure, creating their own unique and cool figure.
