HobbyJapan's model brand AMAKUNI recently announced its latest product from Ryosuke Fukai's original series, "ARMS NOTE": the "Swim Club President 1/7 Scale Figure," scheduled for release in June-July 2024.
The art book "ARMS NOTE," created by illustrator Ryosuke Fukai, is set in a fictional modern society where high school girls routinely carry various high-tech equipment and firearms, much like we carry mobile phones. The "Swim Club President" making her appearance this time is a new character introduced in the summer of 2021, highly skilled and trusted by her club members. Compared to her 162 cm tall junior, she stands at only 147 cm. Although she looks cute, the President often worries about her petite stature.
The "Swim Club President 1/7 Scale Figure" faithfully recreates Ryosuke Fukai's illustration, meticulously depicting the President's well-trained petite physique, bold high-cut competitive swimsuit, and thigh-high socks. The swimsuit is coated with a high-gloss clear paint to convey the wet look of fabric after being soaked in water.
Her healthy tanned skin is not only shaded to express muscle lines and a fleshy feel, but also utilizes AMAKUNI's exclusive special manufacturing method, "Smooth Skin," which pursues a realistic skin texture. This makes the exposed skin parts feel several times smoother to the touch than previous AMAKUNI products, offering not just visual pleasure but also a satisfying tactile experience.
