Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY's "MODEROID" series of plastic model kits, known for its high color separation and articulation, is re-releasing its popular first installment, "Mazinkaiser," with partially improved molds! The suggested retail price is 5,000 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in September 2023.
The "MODEROID Mazinkaiser" plastic model kit, produced in collaboration with Sentinel, is based on Yoichi Sakamoto's design for the "RIOBOT Mazinkaiser," with T-REX handling the product design. It features improvements over the initial specifications released in 2018. In addition to the original PS and ABS materials, some joints now utilize soft plastic parts, allowing for a wider range of articulation and enabling more dynamic poses. Furthermore, transparent parts are used at the tip of the sword hilt, powerfully showcasing the ultimate Kaiser Blade!
