Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya today announced its latest plastic model kit product from "Brave Police J-Decker", "Super Build Tiger", scheduled for release in October 2023.
In the "Brave Police J-Decker" anime, Super Build Tiger is a Brave Robot formed by the combination of Build Tiger (itself formed by the construction team MacCrane, Power Joe, and DumpSon) and Drill Boy's Super Build Combination. However, this kit does not feature a combining and transforming mechanism. Instead, it thoroughly recreates the anime's cool and refined design and body proportions using multi-color molded parts. With a full-body articulated frame utilizing numerous pull-out joints, it allows for dynamic and powerful battle poses.
Accessories include 7 types of interchangeable hand parts and effect parts to recreate moves like Build Crusher and Tiger Cannon. When paired with the separately sold "J-Decker" main unit, it can open its chest tiger mouth to recreate the combination special move "Tiger Fang." By removing armor parts from various sections of the body, it can recreate the Build Tiger form before combination. However, the removed parts cannot be reassembled into Drill Boy.
In addition, the product includes two bonus parts. One is a new hip joint part for J-Decker, which adds articulation to the rear skirt armor and a pull-out mechanism to the hip joints, further expanding the range of motion for the legs. The second is an extended neck part, which, when installed, prevents the Brave Robot's head from being obstructed by the chest parts, making it easier to capture upward-angle shots.
