The DC Batman-themed set "76252 Batcave - Shadowbox", which was previously leaked online and whose intricate detail made it hard to believe it would become a reality, has now been officially announced! It is scheduled for release on June 8, 2023.
This set is composed of 3981 pieces and is designed based on Tim Burton's "Batman Returns" movie setting, creating an ultra-cool, expandable Batcave model! Even when closed, the square model, revealing a hollowed-out Bat-signal, measures 52 cm in length. Looking into it from the front is already cool enough, featuring the beautiful Batmobile and the awesome Batcave base equipment. The construction of the Bat-signal's curved silhouette is also an exciting aspect!
Next is the most astonishing part of this model: the spectacular Batcave after opening the shadowbox! Unlike the pitch-black exterior, the interior utilizes various gray bricks and transparent yellow pieces to create a rich sense of layering. It also features playable mechanisms that can link the Batcave facilities from outside the box. The central area can house the incredibly cool Batmobile, while the left side includes an openable armory, a rotatable chair, a computer screen with changeable displays, and a Batsuit room adorned with light bricks. It's truly amazing and perfectly fulfills every boy's undeniable dream of a secret base.
