Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced that the third product in the 'VirtuouStyle' sub-series of their incredibly diverse 'M.S.G' (Modeling Support Goods) customizable model parts, the Pole Weapon Set, is scheduled for release in October 2023.
The 'VirtuouStyle' series boasts two major enhancements compared to previous general M.S.G Weapon Unit releases. Firstly, the parts utilize a greater variety of molded colors, resulting in a higher degree of completion even in an unpainted state, making them more visually striking than the previous single gray molding. Secondly, the main product lineup will feature lighter-weight armaments compared to standard M.S.G Weapon Units, making them ideal for use with approximately 14-15 cm tall Bishoujo (beautiful girl) plastic model kits such as Sousai Shojo Teien, Frame Arms Girl, Megami Device, and Arcanadea.
The third installment, the "Pole Weapon Set," includes three classic polearms: a halberd, a spear, and a trident. Each part is rendered in silver, red, and gold molded colors, meticulously recreating the ornate blade heads, textured shafts, and intricately designed butts. The diameter of the polearms is compatible with the hand parts of most products from Sousai Shojo Teien, Frame Arms Girl, Megami Device, and Arcanadea, allowing you to pose your girls wielding these impressive weapons!
