Following the "Hitori Gotoh Sports Festival Delusion Ver.," Japanese company ANIPLEX has once again unveiled a new comedic product from the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!": the deformed series "Hitori Gotoh Dumbo Octopus & Tsuchinoko" Q-version figures, which will be previewed at the "Kessoku Band LIVE -Kousei-" event held on May 21st.
With "Introverts, go rock!" as its main theme, "Bocchi the Rock!" (ぼっち・ざ・ろっく！) tells the story of "Hitori Gotoh," a high school girl with severe social anxiety and a school outcast, who has been practicing guitar diligently since childhood, hoping to gain attention from her classmates and become a rock star! However, her gloomy personality and inability to interact with others prevented her from forming a band, leading her to become "Guitar Hero" and post guitar videos online. It wasn't until she met Nijika at Shimokitazawa High School that she, along with Ryo and Ikuyo, formed the "Kessoku Band," serving as the lead guitarist. Her bandmates nicknamed her Bocchi-chan.
※Updated May 22nd: This product faithfully recreates Bocchi-chan's deformed states that occur when her social anxiety severely flares up, bringing her "Dumbo Octopus & Tsuchinoko" forms to life as three-dimensional figures. Both Q-version figures are approximately 5.5 cm tall, reproducing their crude yet comically adorable appearance, reminiscent of handmade clay. They also feature Bocchi-chan's characteristic yellow and blue square hair accessories and a pink ahoge. Will everyone buy this Bocchi-chan?
