Queen Studios, a sculpting brand renowned for capturing character charisma and recreating realistic details with large-scale statues, recently officially announced its latest product from "Transformers 3": the "Megatron On Throne" full-body statue! It is expected to ship in Q3 2024.
This powerfully sculpted "Megatron," standing at an impressive 80 cm, is designed based on his arrogant posture seated upon a massive stone throne after destroying the Lincoln Memorial statue in the film. Crafted from resin, PU, and alloy materials, it features intricate painting techniques to showcase a heavy metallic texture. The rich mechanical detailing, exposed wiring, chains wrapped around his form, extensive weathering across his armor, and his damaged head... collectors who appreciate the intricate, detail-heavy aesthetic of the live-action Transformers films will undoubtedly be captivated! In addition to Megatron, this piece also includes a mini "Igor" (Decapitated Head) statue; the visual effect of holding it in one hand is surprisingly endearing.
