Japanese model manufacturer Megahouse's palm-sized deformed figure series, "LOOKUP," today unveiled for the first time the painted samples of its latest products from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury": "Guel Jeturk," "Elan Ceres (Enhanced Person No. 5)," and "Shaddiq Zenelli," with an anticipated release in late December 2023.
The "LOOKUP" series of finished figures features a cute, deformed sitting pose and a charming, palm-sized form. As the series name suggests, they present soft, adorable faces and an upward gaze, making the characters seem like small animals such as hamsters sitting in your palm, constantly looking up at you with their innocent, big eyes. Whether human or fantastical creatures, they are irresistibly cute and can be placed on your desk or office table for constant comfort.
The three products released this time – Guel, Shaddiq, and Elan Ceres (No. 5) – are based on their initial appearances in the academy from the series. Their distinctive school uniform outfits are faithfully recreated in a deformed scale, along with sitting poses that reflect their individual personalities. The facial expressions accurately capture Elan Ceres (No. 5)'s frivolous smile, distinct from No. 4, Guel's grumpy, short-tempered frown, and Shaddiq's smile that conceals deep ambition.
