Just recently, LEGO unveiled the incredibly powerful 'Batcave – Shadow Box', a product that can be described as a nuclear-level release. Yesterday (25th), LEGO announced another new Batman-themed product: set number 76224, 'Batmobile: Batman vs The Joker Chase', is scheduled for release on August 1, 2023.
This set contains a total of 438 pieces. It's an amazing set that includes a minifigure-scale Batmobile model, along with Batman and The Joker minifigures. The overall design is based on the 'Tim Burton' version of the Batman films. The Batmobile faithfully recreates its cool, streamlined aesthetic. Furthermore, by turning the gear located on the side of the car, you can activate a mechanism to eject machine guns. The flame effect at the rear of the car is expected to rotate with the wheels, similar to the earlier '40433 Batmobile'.
In terms of appearance, this Batmobile is very similar to the one found in the '76252 Batcave – Shadow Box'. The most noticeable difference is likely in the wheel rims. Moreover, these two Batmobiles, set to be released in August 2023, also differ significantly in appearance from the '40433 Batmobile', especially noteworthy are the bat-wing structures on both sides of the rear and the retractable, ejectable machine guns stored inside the car. Suffice it to say, this 76224 set, with both a vehicle and minifigures, is definitely a must-buy!
