Previously leaked online, LEGO's highly anticipated MARVEL Super Heroes theme product, "76262 Captain America's Shield," has now been officially unveiled! It is scheduled for release on August 1, 2023.
This set comprises 3128 pieces, and once assembled, the shield boasts a significant diameter of 47 cm (in official MARVEL lore, Captain America's shield has a diameter of 76 cm). The contents include the red, blue, and white themed round shield, a display stand with a nameplate, and a Captain America minifigure. The minifigure can be displayed with either a helmet or hair, and it even comes with Thor's Hammer and a minifigure-sized mini-shield!
The construction of the star in the center of the shield is highly anticipated. However, overall, there will likely be many repetitive building steps, reminiscent of the previous spherical model, "21332 The Globe." Nevertheless, the circular shape formed by parts at different angles remains quite appealing! If you previously collected "76209 Thor's Hammer," you can display them together! However, it currently appears that this shield does not include the crucial parts for wall mounting.
