BANPRESTO "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Hantengu Zohakuten Figure: A Commanding Standing Pose That Radiates Intense Pressure!

Today (5th), BANPRESTO (バンプレスト), a prize figure brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, unveiled a new "Hantengu Zohakuten" (はんてんぐ ぞうはくてん) figure from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series, slated for release in September 2023!

Zohakuten, who recently played a major role in the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc," is one of the forms of Upper Rank Four, Hantengu. He is the embodiment of Hantengu's hatred, a fusion of his four clones: Sekido, Karaku, Urogi, and Aizetsu. His appearance becomes younger, and he exudes an even more intense aura of pressure. His most distinctive features are the Raijin drum on his back, inscribed with the character for "Hatred" (憎), and his astonishing declaration upon his first appearance that Tanjiro and his companions were bullying the weak! He can not only manipulate trees, transforming them into wooden dragons for attack, but also utilize the Blood Demon Arts of all four emotion clones, making his abilities incredibly formidable.

This BANPRESTO figure of Zohakuten captures his menacing standing pose from his first appearance, meticulously recreating details such as the horns on his head, his spiky black hair, his attire, the drum on his back, and the drumsticks he holds. The head sculpt is exceptionally beautiful, featuring the texture of the horns, the prominent veins and purple gradient on his forehead and around his eyes, the dynamic flow of his ear ornaments, and the characters "Upper Rank" (上弦) and "Four" (肆) in his eyes. The overall look is truly cool! Fans of Zohakuten will definitely want to get their hands on this one~
