The popular action figure "S.H.Figuarts" series, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., is launching its latest "Naruto Shippuden" product: "Uchiha Obito -Hollow Dream of Despair- (tentative title)". The suggested retail price is 8,250 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in November 2023.
Uchiha Obito of the Uchiha clan was formerly a Chunin from Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village), and was part of Minato Namikaze's team alongside Kakashi and Rin Nohara. Originally a kind-hearted and passionate child, he considered Kakashi his rival due to his poor academic performance, but in reality, he deeply valued his comrades. During a mission at the Kannabi Bridge, he was crushed by a rock and was on the verge of death, at which point he transplanted his newly awakened Sharingan to Kakashi, entrusting him with the protection of his beloved Rin. He was later rescued and modified by the former leader of the Uchiha clan, Madara Uchiha, and joined the Akatsuki as the newcomer Tobi, claiming the name "Madara Uchiha."
The "S.H.Figuarts Uchiha Obito -Hollow Dream of Despair-" action figure stands approximately 15.5 cm tall, faithfully recreating his adult black short-haired appearance. The clothing around his legs is made from a soft material, allowing for dynamic and flexible posing. It comes with interchangeable face parts including an expressionless face, a smiling battle face, and a masked face. Additionally, it includes two pairs of gourd-shaped fan accessories with six tomoe patterns, and the chain on the handle is crafted from metal. For combat, it features Wood Style arm parts extending from his hands, allowing you to recreate his fierce battle with Kakashi!
