GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan has announced the latest addition to their popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different products: the "Nendoroid Wataru Ikusabe" articulated figure from Mashin Hero Wataru. It is priced at 6,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2023.

The common protagonist of the Mashin Hero Wataru series, Wataru Ikusabe (戦部ワタル, formerly translated as Sun Da-Lu in Taiwan), is the pilot of Ryujinmaru. Originally just an ordinary elementary school student with excellent physical abilities, he accidentally discovered the "Fist Dragon Magatama," which appears only once every thousand years, on Ryujin Mountain. After attaching it to his crudely made clay robot, he was transported to the alternate world of Soukaizan. There, he became the savior, piloting the giant Mashin "Ryujinmaru," and, together with his companions, embarked on a mission to defeat the Doakudar Army and restore the rainbow's colors to Soukaizan.

The "Nendoroid Wataru Ikusabe" articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall. Its chibi-style design faithfully recreates Wataru's hairstyle, facial features, and attire from the original anime. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: his signature smiling face, a battle face, and a cheerful laughing face. Accessories include the "Sword of Heroes," "Ryujinmaru Clay," "Tōryūken Effect Part," and "Ryujinmaru's Horn," allowing fans to recreate beloved scenes from the anime!
