The 『S.H.MonsterArts』 series, launched under the TAMASHII NATIONS brand, features various "monster" characters from tokusatsu, games, movies, and more as action figures. They are approximately 15-30 cm in size, showcasing the monsters' imposing presence, meticulously detailing their fierce heads, organic skin, claws, and teeth. They also incorporate articulation mechanisms designed by sculptor Mitsuhiko Hosokawa, with precisely divided body parts and numerous movable joints, achieving extreme poseability without compromising the appearance or exposing the joint parts.
Although TAMASHII NATIONS has not yet revealed the theme of the new series, judging from the background of the teaser image, which is filled with ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, the most relevant popular monster series associated with ancient Egypt is undoubtedly "Yu-Gi-Oh!", centered around "monster card duels".
