Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, in collaboration with illustrator Morikura En, recently announced the latest addition to their everyday-life bishojo plastic model kit series, "Sousai Shojo Teien," with the upcoming release of "Saeki Ritsuka (Swimsuit)" scheduled for December 2023.
Saeki Ritsuka is a young lady who has been doted on by her parents and older brother since childhood. She possesses an extremely positive personality and is fearless of any challenge. Quick to grasp things and very dexterous, she is well-versed in subcultures due to her older brother's influence. However, her current interests seem to have shifted to singing and dancing. Although she has been confessed to by many boys from other schools, she herself has no interest in romance at the moment and finds it more enjoyable to spend time with her female friends.
The "Sousai Shojo Teien Saeki Ritsuka (Swimsuit)" features newly sculpted parts depicting her in a bikini swimsuit. The approximately 16 cm tall articulated body boasts a more flexible range of motion compared to her uniform version, and meticulously reproduces details such as the floral ornament on her head and her attractive figure using molded parts. The detachable sarong skirt parts are made with clear blue plastic to convey a light, sheer texture. The swimsuit's bow straps, sandal straps, and other areas are pre-painted, allowing for a largely accurate representation of her design even with a straight build.
Accessories include 4 newly sculpted pre-printed face parts, unpainted face parts, and water-slide decals with various expressions, faithfully reproducing the beautiful pupils designed by Morikura En. Hair parts include three styles: her signature ponytail, long hair, and twin braids. The twin braids also offer two interchangeable styles, hanging down and swaying, showcasing the blonde beauty in various poses. Additionally, there are 8 pairs of sculpted hand parts, 3 pairs of bare feet parts, and interchangeable lower body parts for a sitting pose, perfect for beach scenes, allowing you to recreate summer moments of fun on the beach!
