BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division today announced the latest product from the 'HG (High Grade)' robot model kit series, based on Armored Trooper VOTOMS: the "HG Scope Dog Expansion Parts Set 1", scheduled for release in November 2023.
The "HG Scope Dog Expansion Parts Set 1" is a model kit designed to be used with the separately sold "HG Scope Dog" main unit. The product includes replacement body parts and a pilot figure of the protagonist, Chirico Cuvie. Compared to the original fully enclosed body, this version not only allows the cockpit hatch to open but also features a meticulously sculpted cockpit interior, including the seat, control stick, and other details, allowing Chirico to be placed in the seat to recreate the piloting state.
Additionally, the set includes four types of interchangeable hands and two sets of effect parts. When combined with the Scope Dog main unit, these allow for a wider variety of poses, as well as recreating the sparks that erupt along the sliding trajectory when the Armored Trooper performs a "Roller Dash" using its foot-mounted rollers in the show!
