BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division today announced the latest product from its 'HG (High Grade)' robot model kit series, based on Armored Trooper VOTOMS: the "HG Scope Dog Expansion Parts Set 2", slated for release in November 2023.
The "HG Scope Dog Expansion Parts Set 2" is a model kit designed to be used with the separately sold "HG Scope Dog" main unit. The product includes three new armaments, each with movable mechanisms: the GAT-22-C Heavy Machine Gun Custom, SMAT-38 Shoulder Missile Pod, and SMAT-03 Heavy Firepower Cannon.
・GAT-22-C Heavy Machine Gun Custom
The magazine is detachable, and the sub-grip features a movable mechanism.
・SMAT-38 Shoulder Missile Pod
The red warheads can be reproduced in their molded color without painting. The strap is made of faux leather PU parts, and the bases of the grip and sub-grip both feature movable mechanisms.
・SMAT-03 Heavy Firepower Cannon
The base of the grip also features movability.
Additionally, the product includes water-slide decals to enhance the details of the "HG Scope Dog" body and reproduce various unit markings, as well as a classic figure of protagonist Chirico Cuvie in his iconic pose, holding a gun in his right hand and walking with a cool demeanor. This figure is sculpted in the same scale as the HG Scope Dog, allowing for joint display!
