BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division of Japan today officially announced the long-hidden new product B: the "HG 1/144 Calibarn Gundam," part of the 'HG (High Grade)' series of 1/144 scale Gunpla, known for its most diverse range of mobile suits. The news includes its scheduled release on July 15, 2023, along with the reveal of its box art and prototype sample images.
The X-EX01 Calibarn Gundam is a mobile suit that was seized and sealed by the Space Assembly League during the Vanadis Incident 21 years ago. It is equipped with a propulsion-type long-range rifle that resembles a witch's broom. However, because this unit lacks a Data Storm filter and completely disregards the pilot's safety, despite its excellent performance, it is still referred to as a "monster." Even though Suletta's body is a clone of the chosen one, Ericht, she still needs to overcome Permet Score 5 to barely fight.

The "HG 1/144 Calibarn Gundam" is produced with new parts, creating a clean, sharp, and cool design. The chest, antenna, and other areas are made with clear black parts, and through IMD (In-Mold Decoration) molded parts, it can reproduce the rainbow glow generated when exceeding Permet Score 8. The articulation design continues the flexible mobility of the Aerial series, allowing for dynamic battle poses from the show. Weapon accessories include the distinctive "propulsion-type long-range rifle," which can deploy its four thrusters at the tail end. The 11 GUND-Bits received from the Aerial Rebuild are also presented in a new pure white molded color.
