BANDAI SPIRITS Company's Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, under its popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts," preemptively unveiled prototypes for the Netflix live-action series "ONE PIECE" at "Anime Expo 2023," held in Los Angeles from July 1st to July 4th. The revealed prototypes are "S.H.Figuarts Monkey D. Luffy" and "S.H.Figuarts Roronoa Zoro"! Reference price and release date are yet to be determined.
The Netflix-led live-action series "ONE PIECE," with original creator Eiichiro Oda serving as executive producer and supervisor, is scheduled for a worldwide exclusive launch starting August 31, 2023, with a total of 10 episodes. Even before its broadcast, it has sparked enthusiastic discussion among a vast number of ONE PIECE fans.
S.H.Figuarts has also boldly preemptively unveiled the prototypes for "S.H.Figuarts Monkey D. Luffy" and "S.H.Figuarts Roronoa Zoro." Monkey D. Luffy (portrayed by Iñaki Godoy) meticulously captures the actor's distinct facial contours, curly hair, and slender physique, complete with his iconic red vest and straw hat. Roronoa Zoro (portrayed by Mackenyu Arata) faithfully recreates his green hair and characteristic facial features, with his three swords at his waist and muscular build all carefully rendered! One can only say... they have immense courage to commercialize these!
