Danish toy company LEGO today (7th) unveiled a new product in its MARVEL Super Heroes series, item number 76250, "Wolverine's Adamantium Claws"! It is scheduled for release on August 1, 2023.
This set comprises 596 pieces and is based on the design of Wolverine's Adamantium Claws and blue gloves from the classic X-Men animated series, "X-Men: The Animated Series." In addition to utilizing various curved and flat dark blue pieces to outline the glove's shape, the official images suggest that the fingers also feature articulation. Regarding the claws, this editor personally finds it a slight pity that they are rendered with ordinary gray pieces; using metallic-sheen parts would likely make them look cooler and achieve a sharper visual effect!
However, its sleek appearance, near 1:1 scale (37 cm tall) once assembled, and the "X-Men: The Animated Series" LOGO display stand make it quite impressive for display. It would also pair wonderfully with the previously released Thor's Hammer and Captain America's Shield! If you want to display them individually, one set might not be enough – a clever little trick from LEGO, indeed!
