Japan's official Gunpla flagship store, GUNDAM BASE, today unveiled information on its latest limited-edition product from "Mobile Suit Gundam UC," the "RG 1/144 Unicorn Gundam (Final Battle Specification) [Special Coating]," scheduled for release on July 29, 2023.
This product is based on the "RG Unicorn Gundam" released in 2017. This highly intricate 1/144 scale model achieves a complete transformation mechanism between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode. Through the sliding and locking mechanisms of its full-body armor, the internal clear psycho-frame can be deployed, all while maintaining a cool physique, excellent proportions, and strong articulation, allowing for dynamic poses from the series.
The "RG 1/144 Unicorn Gundam (Final Battle Specification) [Special Coating]" features white armor parts treated with a special coating that gives them a metallic luster. This is combined with metallic molded colors and green clear parts to recreate its awakened appearance during the final battle. It includes a Beam Magnum, Hyper Bazooka, Beam Saber, 3 shields, 6 Beam Gatling Guns, and three sets of stands, allowing you to reproduce scenes where the shields act as funnels for floating attacks and defense around the unit!
