Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) has announced its latest product from the popular mobile game "Uma Musume Pretty Derby": the "[Pushed by the Approaching Heat] Kitasan Black 1/7 Scale Figure", with a suggested retail price of 22,000 JPY, scheduled for release in April 2024.
The Uma Musume "Kitasan Black" appearing in Cygames' "Uma Musume Pretty Derby" is affectionately known as "Kita-chan" by players. Her prototype is the Japanese thoroughbred racehorse Kitasan Black. In the game's setting, she is an energetic, cheerful Uma Musume with short black hair. Born into a large family, she enjoys helping others and particularly loves lively festivals – her winning outfit design is inspired by Japanese festivals. Her popularity soared even further because her "SSR Support Card [Pushed by the Approaching Heat] Kitasan Black" in the game was hailed as a legendary "must-pull divine card"!
Kotobukiya's "[Pushed by the Approaching Heat] Kitasan Black 1/7 Scale Figure" is based on the illustration from the SSR Support Card "Pushed by the Approaching Heat (迫る熱に押されて)", bringing the energetic and vigorously sprinting Kita-chan to life! Standing approximately 30 cm tall, the figure meticulously captures the details of her festival-themed winning outfit, with her dynamic hair and tail sculpted to appear naturally flowing. The paintwork delicately reproduces the gorgeous patterns and metallic textures. Her radiant smile, combined with the unmissable "little bonus" on her chest, showcases Kita-chan's irresistible charm!
