Following the release of Kamen Rider No. 1 and Cyclone from the 1/6 scale articulated figure series "FigZero" by Hong Kong toy brand threezero, the latest product from the movie "Shin Kamen Rider," "Kamen Rider No. 2," has been announced for release in Q4 2023.
Kamen Rider No. 2, transformed by Hayato Ichimonji, was originally an assassin, a modified locust-type cyborg dispatched by the SHOCKER organization to eliminate the traitor Kamen Rider No. 1 / Takeshi Hongo. His body modifications and transformation belt were improved based on No. 1, granting him even greater performance. After Hayato Ichimonji's brainwashing was lifted, he inherited the "Kamen Rider" name and red scarf to atone for his past, fighting alongside Takeshi Hongo against SHOCKER.
"FigZero Kamen Rider No. 2" is built upon the articulated frame of No. 1, boasting an impressive height of 32 cm with over 32 points of articulation. It meticulously recreates the in-movie appearance using a variety of materials including ABS, PVC, POM, and fabric. Not only are the helmet, which differs from No. 1, and the intricate details of the transformation belt faithfully reproduced, but the scarf, trench coat, and full combat suit are also sewn from multiple types of fabric, completely covering the joint parts. The gloves and boots are treated with weathering paint, showcasing a realistic appearance of having endured numerous battles.
Accessories include four pairs of interchangeable sculpted hands. For the boots, collectors can choose between one-piece molded parts that prioritize aesthetics or articulated foot parts that prioritize poseability. Both the trench coat and scarf feature embedded metal wires for customizable posing, and the head contains LED lights to illuminate the eyes. Combined with the various articulation points, fans can recreate cool in-movie poses such as transformation, combat, and the iconic Rider Kick!
