Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, in collaboration with illustrator Morikura En, recently announced the latest product in their everyday bishojo model kit series, "Sousai Shojo Teien": "Ritsuka Saeki (Swimsuit) Dreaming Style Innocent Bloom," slated for release in January 2024. This product will be exclusively sold at the official Kotobukiya store, KOTOBUKIYA SHOP, and select retailers.
Ritsuka Saeki is a young lady who has been cherished by her parents and older brother since childhood. She possesses an extremely positive personality and fears no challenge. She quickly grasps new concepts and is quite dexterous. Influenced by her brother, she is well-versed in subcultures, though her current interests seem to have shifted to singing and dancing. While she has received numerous confessions from boys at other schools, she currently has no interest in romance and finds it more enjoyable to spend time with her female friends.
The "Ritsuka Saeki (Swimsuit) Dreaming Style Innocent Bloom" is a modified version based on the standard kit. Ritsuka's signature blonde hair has been replaced with a lovely cherry blossom pink, while her head ribbon, floral hair accessory, and sandals have been changed to vibrant colors such as yellow, pink, and purple, respectively. Paired with a white bikini swimsuit and a bright pink sheer skirt, these elements create an even more dreamy and adorable aesthetic. Additionally, the Dreaming Style limited edition will include a B2-sized background paper titled "Resort Pool," featuring a magnificent night view with fireworks. However, this bonus item will only be distributed within Japan.
The remaining parts are identical to the standard version. Accessories include 4 newly sculpted pre-painted face parts, unpainted face parts, and water decals with various expressions, faithfully reproducing the beautiful pupils designed by Morikura En. For hairstyles, there are three options: her signature ponytail, long hair, and twin braids, with the twin braids offering both hanging and swaying poses for interchangeability. Furthermore, it includes 8 pairs of sculpted hands, 3 pairs of bare feet, and a sitting lower body part suitable for beach scenes, allowing for playful recreations of summer fun on the beach.
