Following the Dairen'oh, the popular assembly model candy toy series 'SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT' released by Japan's Bandai Toy Company's candy toy division, BANDAI CANDY, today announced the second product from 'Gosei Sentai Dairanger', 'Won Tiger', scheduled for release in December 2023.
With the addition of the sixth warrior, 'Kiba Ranger', the Ki-Den Beast he pilots, Won Tiger, also became a powerful force for the Gosei Sentai. In its white tiger-like Ki-Den Beast form, Won Tiger can attack enemies with a shockwave roar called 'Won Tiger Great Roar', and allow the Ki-Den Warrior RyuseiOh to ride on its back for combined combat. When transformed into its Ki-Den Warrior form, it becomes even more agile, capable of performing martial arts such as punches and kicks, and using its tail as the 'Golden Sword'. Furthermore, by utilizing the seven Ki-Den Gems corresponding to the seven luminaries, it can unleash seven different elemental 'Tiger Cub Secret Arts'.
The 'SMP Won Tiger' is assembled from multi-colored molded parts and complementary stickers. The white parts of its body are mixed with a special material to create a marble-like texture, recreating the feel of the original show and DX toy. In its Ki-Den Beast form, Won Tiger can be posed in dynamic running and jumping postures thanks to its articulated limbs, and can recreate scenes of RyuseiOh riding on its back for combined combat when linked with the separately sold RyuseiOh.
When transformed into its Ki-Den Warrior form via its transformation mechanism, the tail part also becomes the 'Golden Sword' as per the show's setting. Its various joints are also more flexible, allowing for dynamic battle poses. The white tiger's mouth on its chest can also have transparent parts of the seven Ki-Den Gems (Sun, Moon, Fire, Water, Wood, Gold, Earth) replaced, and with the rotating text patterns, it can recreate the appearance when performing the 'Tiger Cub Secret Arts'.
This product can perform a New Star Combination with the four Ki-Den Beasts released in the first wave – Star Shishi, Star Tenma, Star Kirin, and Star Houou – recreating the cool five-machine combined form, 'Dairen'oh', through each machine's transformation mechanism! However, due to the transformation mechanism, the Ki-Den Warrior form requires the areas beneath the head and inside the calves to be entirely hollowed out. While the area beneath the head has a dedicated part to fill the gap, the inside of the calves does not receive additional treatment.
