Bandai Co., Ltd. of Japan today announced that the latest product, "FAIZ DRIVER NEXT," from 《Kamen Rider 555 20th Paradise Regained》, will be commercialized in their adult-oriented Kamen Rider belt series, 'COMPLETE SELECTION MODIFICATION'. The full product details are scheduled to be revealed on October 20, 2023.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 2003 tokusatsu series 《Kamen Rider 555》, Toei Company of Japan has reassembled the original cast and crew 20 years after the final episode aired, officially announcing that the legitimate sequel, 《Kamen Rider 555 20th Paradise Regained》, will be released in 2024. The protagonist, Takumi Inui, who transforms into Kamen Rider FAIZ in the series, has also obtained a brand new enhanced form, "Kamen Rider NEXT FAIZ."
The "Kamen Rider NEXT FAIZ" still features the familiar red Photon Blood pipeline design throughout its body, but the head, chest, and overall armor styling have undergone significant changes. Compared to the original sleek design, it appears slightly bulkier, and the rigid circular chest armor, in particular, is not as cool as the original metallic chest plate, leading to inevitably mixed reviews.
The transformation belt, which is the "FAIZ DRIVER NEXT" being commercialized, also incorporates modern technology in line with the main body's design, evolving from the original flip phone to a smartphone. However, detailed functions will only be revealed when the product information is released. It remains to be seen if the Photon Blood's glowing mechanism will be reproduced.
