SEGA PRIZE, a popular prize figure series from Japanese game company SEGA, will release new figures "Luminasta Gojo Satoru Welcome to Okinawa!!" and "Luminasta Geto Suguru Welcome to Okinawa!! (tentative title)" based on the trending anime "Jujutsu Kaisen Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Arc." These will be available as prize figures, expected to debut in late November 2023!
The second season of the "Jujutsu Kaisen" TV anime, "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Arc," primarily depicts the youthful school life of Gojo Satoru, Geto Suguru, and others, showcasing their innocent appearances during their Jujutsu High student days and further detailing how the two former classmates became sworn enemies. The popular character Geto Suguru was a classmate of Gojo Satoru and Ieiri Shoko during their time at Jujutsu High. Besides being Gojo Satoru's best friend, they were also known as the strongest duo of Jujutsu Sorcerers. However, after the Star Plasma Vessel escort mission, Gojo and Geto gradually diverged onto different paths due to differing ideologies.
The SEGA PRIZE figures "Luminasta Gojo Satoru Welcome to Okinawa!!" and "Luminasta Geto Suguru Welcome to Okinawa!!" are inspired by the scene where the two arrive in Okinawa to protect the Star Plasma Vessel, Riko Amanai. The product name incorporates the Okinawan dialect "Mensoore" (Welcome).
