The renowned Hong Kong action figure toy brand "Storm Collectibles," known for releasing numerous character products from SNK's fighting game "The King of Fighters '98: Ultimate Match" (KOF98'UM), is set to launch an action figure of the in-game character "Ryo Sakazaki" as part of its 1/12 scale action figure series in the third quarter of 2024! The price will be 90 USD.

Ryo Sakazaki (Japanese: リョウ・サカザキ, Romaji: Ryo Sakazaki, also often referred to as 坂崎良 or 坂崎獠, with his kanji confirmed as 亮 in SNK's "BURIKI ONE") first appeared as the protagonist of SNK's fighting game "Art of Fighting." Dressed in an orange gi, he made a name for himself and grew through Kyokugenryu Karate, earning the title "The Invincible Dragon." Initially, he traveled extensively to rescue his sister Yuri. After successfully rescuing his father Takuma, he, along with his friend Robert and sister Yuri, worked hard to revive Kyokugenryu Karate. When "The King of Fighters" was released in 1994, he, his father, and Robert participated as the Mexico Team, and he has been a regular character ever since. His signature moves include Koho Ken, Hien Shippu Kyaku, Zanretsu Ken, Haoh Shokoken, and Ryuko Ranbu, among others.
This Ryo Sakazaki figure by Storm Collectibles is also in 1/12 scale. In terms of articulation, it maintains the series' high standard with multiple joints. Coupled with the five sets of interchangeable hand parts, Ryo Sakazaki can strike various in-game poses and moves with near-perfect accuracy to the original. Regarding the sculpt, it features Ryo Sakazaki's standard orange gi, paired with a black undershirt. For accessories, in addition to three interchangeable head sculpts with different expressions, there are also effect parts for Ryo Sakazaki's Zanretsu Ken move, and a projectile effect part for his powerful Haoh Shokoken special move. Through these, his in-game attack poses can be perfectly recreated.
